Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America.
It’s a range of conditions that actually affect your heart, and those include Coronary Artery Disease, congenital heart defects, and Arrhythmias. There are several ways to increase your heart health such as eating a better diet, exercise, taking iron supplements, and omega-3 fatty acids.
In the meantime, you should be sure to look out for these signs, because your body could be warning you of a heart attack.
“Technically the heart attack happens when the flow of oxygen-rich blood to a section of the heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked, and then the heart begins to die due to the lack of oxygen. If the blood isn’t restored quickly, that section of the heart muscle starts to die.
If immediate help is not required, the entire heart can die – causing death.”
Extreme fatigue is one of the premature signs of a heart attack. Fatigue is a normal thing after physical activities or after some stressful day, but if you experience constant fatigue maybe you need to check your heart health.
If you have eaten, you have a sufficient amount of sleep, and haven’t done a whole lot, and yet, you are experiencing fatigue, it is not natural. Another sign of premature heart attack are the sleep disturbances. This can be a way of your subconscious letting you know that the things are not right.
These disturbances might consist of having to frequently get up and use the restroom, get a drink of water, or simply wake up for no reason at all. In such situation, it’s better to see a doctor in concern of your heart health.
Shortness of breath can be the key indicator of heart issues. When your heart is not receiving a sufficient amount of oxygen, it could make you feel short of breath. Another early indicator of heart attack is indigestion; constantly having a rumbly stomach is not that normal. However, if you have consumed some spicy or irritating foods, indigestion is a normal thing.
The last two symptoms that you might experience 6 months before having a heart attack are increased anxiety and your arms feel heavy or weak. This happens because when your heart doesn’t get enough oxygen, it sends out impulses to the spine.
All the nerves which run from the heart to the spine branch off into your arms and could cause a sensation of pain. In case one of your arms goes numb, you might be in a process of having a heart attack! Watch out for these symptoms and signs. Remember to take care of your heart health! We just can’t live without it.
IMPORTANT: In case you are experiencing any of these symptoms, be sure to always check in with your doctor.
