How The Organs Of a Woman Move During Pregnancy?

During the average 40 weeks of pregnancy, the woman’s body is exposed to numerous changes. So, as the child grows, it takes more and more place inside its mother.

The abdominal area obviously spreads towards outside, yet that’s not the only thing. The inner organs also are under a great pressure with each move that often causes unpleasant feeling. The movement of organs could look very dramatic, especially when those movements are filmed during all the 9 months of pregnancy, just as it was shown on this video presented on an exhibition in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

In the video, the 9 months of pregnancy were accelerated in just several seconds and the video is an excellent proof of “The perfect machine” – the human body.

On the website of the museum, you could see all of the changes that are happening during the period of pregnancy in a precise week. For example, from 29 to 32 week of pregnancy, you could clearly see how the female inner organs are pressed. In the 30th week, the baby weighs around 1.400 grams and is about 40 centimeters long. That is still far from the average 50 centimeters of length and the 3,5 kilograms of weight with which the babies are usually born.
